Three teenage friends - Tara, Em and Skye - arrive in Crete for their post-exams summer holiday. Em and Skye urge Tara to use the holiday as an opportunity to lose her virginity. At their hotel, Tara is initially drawn to a fellow British partygoer - the goofy Badger. But a troubling sexual encounter with Badger’s friend Paddy soon casts a dark shadow over what should have been a celebratory holiday.

A deserving winner of the prestigious Un Certain Regard award at Cannes, Molly Manning Walker’s superb debut film artfully addresses vital questions around sexuality and consent. It’s a frank exploration of that confusing time between childhood and adulthood - encompassing both the joyous moments and the more unsettling ones.
