E.1027 is a cienamtic journey into the mind of Eileen Gray. The film reconstructs the dramatic story of one of the world's most influential designers and her stunningly beautiful house. Built in 1929, her first house E.1027 on the Côte d'Azur is a discrete, avant-garde masterpiece. La Corbusier, upon discovering the house, becomes intrigued and obsessed - ultimately building the famous Cabanon directly behind, dominating the narrative of the site to this day.

Beatrice Minger's film is a story about the power of female expression, and men's desire to control it.
